Amber Davis M.S.
Amber Davis, MS, is a graduate of Jefferson University's Masters in Community and Trauma Counseling. Amber is a pre-licensed clinician, seeking full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Amber joined SOAR in June 2020 as a clinical intern during her studies at Jefferson, and stayed on staff to pursue her passion of working with survivors of sexual assault.
Amber works with clients on understanding and processing the long-term impact of trauma, emotion identification and regulation, balancing interpersonal relationships, creating and maintaining boundaries, and coping with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She employs a relational approach that centers the client's experience and promotes self-awareness and self-compassion.
Amber believes all survivors and secondary survivors have a voice and story that deserve to be heard. Amber also has a passion for connecting with potential clients and educating the public as an intake specialist for SOAR.
